Alvis Speed 20 Engine Work and General Maintenance. Work carried out was:

• Blown head gasket,
• New valves and guides fitted,
• Valve seats re-cut,
• Block removed and striped for resurfacing,
• Block core plugs replaced,
• Cylinder head resurfaced,
• Block and cylinder head beed blasted primed and paited
• General Maintenance

• Reconditioned cylinder head
• Valve guides replaced
• Valves replaced for unleaded fuel
• Oil pump up grade fitted
• Blocked skimmed
• Block line bored for new crank shaft billets
• Crank shaft ground and over size bearings fitted
• Forged pistons fitted
• New liners fitted to block
• Liner counter bores re-cut in block
• Full timing chain kit fitted
• Oil pump chain fitted with new shaft
• Timing chain guides replaced and riveted on
• Oil pump and water pump shafts replaced and pulleys riveted
• Full engine casket kit fitted
• Water pump re-built
• Plugs points condenser replaced
• All engine parts cleaned, primed and painted
• Alternator and dynamo re-conditioned
